Welcome to the Secondary Science and STEM Department!

Our dynamic team comprised of teachers, instructional specialists, district science interventionist, and coordinator is here ready to ignite passion and love of science within your child each and everyday! With our Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and College Board aligned curricula using the 5E model, we are teaching our STEM scholars in 3D on "how to figure out science and engineering" using real world phenomena such as hurricanes and their impacts, building new models to solve the world's most pressing problems, or deciphering how varied forces may impact car crashes, etc. Come and join an Alief ISD secondary science classroom where your child's excitement and enthusiasm for scientific critical thinking and problem solving will be like no other!
